Today, global trends make it essential for governments, businesses, and consumers to consider the environment when making immediate and long-term purchasing decisions. In recognition of this, the Federation of Thai Industries, together with the Asian Productivity Organization and the Thailand Productivity Institute, consider the promotion of eco-friendly products to be a top priority, as it significantly affects consumption patterns and how business is done in the region.
The Eco-products International Fair 2005 will help create awareness among consumers, traders, and manufacturers regarding the importance of eco-products and the greening of supply chains in the region. Organized along the lines of similar eco-product exhibitions held regularly in Tokyo, Japan, over the past six years, Bangkok is honored to host this important event in 2005. It demonstrates Thailand’s keen interest in promoting eco-products and accelerating the expansion of green markets through the exhibition of environmentally friendly products.
We believe that the myriad business opportunities in Thailand, plus growing consumer awareness and demand for environmentally friendly products worldwide, will make this timely fair a success for all involved. You are cordially invited to join us.

Eco-products are made from improved raw materials, use less energy and water resources, and produce less waste and emissions, resulting in energy and water savings, lower emission levels, and reductions in waste and the need for waste treatment.
When reused, recycled, and disposed of, eco-products reduce the amount of waste, hazardous wastes and pollution released to the environment.
Eco-products are products that can be transformed into services. Eco-products and services bear eco-labels, have long life expectancy, and can improve the environment.
