ORGANIZERS
The APO is an inter-governmental regional organization established by convention in 1961 by several governments in Asia and the Pacific. Its objective is to contribute to the socio-economic development of countries in the Asia Pacific region and improvement in the quality life of their people through productivity enhancement. This thrust is being carried out under mutual cooperation among the APO member countries.

It also provides consultancy, training, and research in the areas of productivity, governance, and management.
