APO Forum for Promoting Entrepreneurship in Asia (Global Entrepreneurship Week Japan 2010) to be held in Kyoto, 18–21 November 2010
The APO Forum for Promoting Entrepreneurship in Asia will be held from 18 to 21
November 2010 in Kyoto, Japan. Entrepreneurs from APO member countries will
participate in this forum to learn the keys to success in entrepreneurial activities and
interact with Kyoto-based enterprises. This APO forum is part of Global Entrepreneurship
Week (GEW) events, which are held annually as part of a worldwide initiative to promote
entrepreneurship in all regions.
In 2008, Make Your Mark (founded by four leading UK business membership organizations) and the Kauffman Foundation (the world's largest entrepreneurship
foundation based in the USA) held the first GEW. Approximately 100 countries have
participated in this event in the last two years and various entrepreneurial activities were
held. In Japan, the Honda Foundation serves as the host of the GEW, and the APO
cohosts along with many other partners while providing forums for Asian entrepreneurs
from its member countries to learn from the associated activities.
