The APO Secretariat received a special visit from students at Inami Junior High School, Toyohashi, Aichi prefecture, on 9 June. The five students on a school trip wanted to learn about the APO and its activities as an international organization. Secretariat Information Officer Sunju Lee gave a presentation introducing the APO and its strong network of NPOs that jointly contribute to socioeconomic development in the Asia-Pacific region. Lee also explained the meaning of productivity, which is “an attitude seeking to continually improve what already exists,” and emphasized that the concept of productivity can be applied to daily life at home and in school.
