ORGANIZATION

The Directorate of Manpower Productivity Development is one of the Directorates of the Directorate General of Manpower Training and Productivity Development, Ministry of Manpower. Based on Ministerial Decree No. 28/M/1994, the task of this Directorate is to carry out a part of the main task of the Directorate General in the field of manpower productivity under the technical policy of the Director General.

The Directorate of Manpower Productivity Development (as NPC) has a single Subdivision and five Subdirectorates:

  • Subdivision of Administrative Affairs
  • Subdirectorate of Planning and Cooperation
  • Subdirectorate of Productivity Promotion
  • Subdirectorate of Productivity Training
  • Subdirectorate of Productivity Measurement and Analysis
  • Subdirectorate of Productivity Management Consultancy

At the regional level, there are 27 Regional Productivity Development Units.

ACTIVITIES

Activities for manpower productivity dissemination include:

General Policies

  • To improve the quality and extend the scope of activities such as productivity promotion, training, productivity measurement, consultancy, and productivity information carried out by regional productivity development units (BPPD) in cooperation with other parties.
  • To establish and develop the national productivity institution and productivity units in enterprises and society as well as in government agencies.

Main Policies

  • To identify the affecting factors of manpower and enterprise productivity.
  • To promote and develop productivity measurement at the sectoral and enterprise level.
  • To provide guidance and consultancy for small and medium enterprises.
  • To encourage the development of association in the field of productivity as the government partner in disseminating an understanding of productivity.
