Director APO for Indonesia,

Alternate Director APO for Indonesia, Mr. Harry Heriawan Saleh,
Governor of Bali province, Mr. Dewa Bratha,
Esteemed Directors of National Productivity Organizations of APO member countries,
Ladies and Gentlemen;
First of all, let us offer our praise and thank God Almighty for His blessings, so that we are able to gather here today at the opening of the 47th Workshop Meeting of Heads of National Productivity Organizations.
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, please accept my warmest welcome to Indonesia especially to island of Bali, the most popular tourist destination in Indonesia.
Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen,
I learned that the Asian Productivity Organization has a significant function in enhancing economy growth and welfare of Asian Pacific countries through its role as a "Think Tank", "Catalyst", "Regional Advisor", "Institution Builder", and "Clearing House", of information on productivity.
I am proud
to say that during the existence of APO service in Asia Pacific region, much valuable information on productivity promotion, improvement and maintenance has been shared among its member countries to achieve greater competitiveness and highest economic growth. Now APO serves not only Asian Pacific region but also African region. This indicates to us that APO has always progressed. So it is reasonable for me to express my highest appreciation to APO, I believe that, APO is the best productivity organization in the world.
Today is the 47th workshop meeting of Heads of NPOs, means that at least 47 times APO has supported the similar program since its early service. This workshop is important to allow all Heads of NPOs aligned and integrated views in facing future tighter economic challenges.
Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen,

Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen,
Before I close my address, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Secretary-General of APO and staff for supporting this workshop. My thanks also goes to Governor of Bali province for supporting this workshop.
Finally, I shall declare, the 47th Workshop Meeting of Heads of NPOs officially open.
