A special lecture on Productivity Measurement within a New Architecture for US National Accounts: Lessons for Asia by Dr. Dale W. Jorgenson will be given on 15 January 2009 under the auspices of the APO and KEO of Keio University.

Dr. Jorgenson is a world-renowned specialist in productivity and productivity measurement. This special lecture, the second in the APO-KEO Productivity Special Lecture series, is part of ongoing efforts to raise public awareness of productivity issues. It will touch upon various topics in productivity measurement and the evolution of measurement methodology, as well as its contribution to policy formulation for national socioeconomic development. In that connection, Dr. Jorgenson will highlight the new architecture of national accounts developed in the USA based on his most recent research.
