SUMMARY:Conference on Youth Education and the Future of Work
DESCRIPTION:The global workforce will undergo significant transformations driven by technological advances\, demographic shifts\, climate change\, and changing economic paradigms. The APO’s Embracing New Ways of Work Report 2021 highlighted the need to renew teaching methodologies and curricula\, develop competencies among teachers and education managers\, upgrade educational infrastructure\, and enhance lifelong learning to empower the workforce\, particularly the youth\, with advanced skills\, knowledge\, and socially responsible attitudes to navigate the future work environment. \nGiven that the Asia-Pacific region is home to more than half of the global youth population\, this conference will serve as a platform for APO member economies to explore how governments and individuals can prepare for the future with the support of evolving technologies\, underscoring the importance of revamping education systems and policies to meet future challenges and opportunities. \nFor more details please click on PN.
