DESCRIPTION:The APO Manual on Public-sector Productivity\, 2020\, mentioned various aspects to improve the motivation and skill level of public officials\, strengthen management systems\, and enhance performance given the changing environment and current commitment to publicservice renewal. Reforms have been undertaken by many APO member governments to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of public resources\, increase accountability\, and enhance responsiveness to citizens’ needs. \nWhile advances in technology adoption have played a major role in the enhancement of public-service delivery\, better performance of publicsector organizations\, and improvement of overall productivity\, continued upskilling and reskilling of public-sector professionals remain important.
