DESCRIPTION:This P-Talk focuses on innovation ecosystems and their conceptual definition. Hakan Erten\, Deputy Director General of the NPO of Turkiye\, explores their effects on productivity theoretically and practically. Key elements of these ecosystems and examples from around the world are presented\, including the roles of academia in knowledge creation and diffusion as well as of corporations in commercializing knowledge and innovation. Public policy implications and the innovation–productivity paradox are examined.
