DESCRIPTION:Improving productivity in healthcare is crucial for reducing costs and enhancing patient care. Embracing technology can enhance efficiency\, reduce errors\, and optimize resource use in the healthcare sector. Technological integration can streamline administrative and care processes\, personalize patient interactions\, automate tasks\, and allow clinicians to focus on complex procedures\, leading to better healthcare outcomes (Deloitte\, Global Healthcare Sector Outlook\, 2024). However\, challenges include limited efficiency improvement opportunities and innovation barriers. \nThe ROK has gained global recognition among the APO members for its effective response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite facing significant challenges\, the country propelled the digital transformation of its healthcare industry\, resulting in positive changes. This swift digitalization has advanced real-time treatment and management technologies\, emerging as a prominent new business sector.
