The APO, under the auspices of Keio Economic Observatory, provided one-week training in Tokyo, 11–16 October, for Mongolian National Statistical Office (NSO) staff who are involved in the National Wealth Survey (NWS) currently being conducted in collaboration by the APO and NSO.
During the training, the Mongolian statisticians learned how to perform efficient statistical error checks for the NWS. They were also given opportunities to learn how to estimate capital stock from the data of asset service life, depreciation rate, and investment goods price, which will be compiled based on the raw data collected for the NWS.
