This document contains 11 key advanced-energy technology recommendations for the Asia-Pacific region, made by a group of 17 energy professionals from 12 APO member countries. These recommendations are an outcome of the workshop jointly organized by the APO and Directorate of Productivity, Government of Indonesia, in June 2015 in Jakarta.
This report is a result of the training course on Rural Entrepreneurship Development in Fiji held in March 2015. Organized by the APO in partnership with the Ministry of Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations and National Training & Productivity Centre of Fiji National University, it provides a set of findings and recommendations for promoting rural entrepreneurship in developing APO member countries.
This brief document affirms the commitment of heads of delegations and government representatives to the promotion of Green Productivity for ensuring sustainable, inclusive economic growth in the Asia-Pacific region. The delegates attended the APO 3rd World Conference on Green Productivity in Taipei, ROC, in November 2014.
This declaration resulted from the Forum on Mitigating Negative Effects of Climate Change on Agriculture held in Bali, Indonesia, in 2014. More than 50 policymakers and planners, agricultural professionals, scientists, and executives of NGOs and NPOs representing 18 economies provided valuable inputs for promoting climate change adaptation and mitigation policies and practices in the agricultural sector.
The 10 most promising green energy technologies for the Asia-Pacific region are described, as identified by a study mission on Green Energy Technology organized by the APO in collaboration with other bodies. Held in Taipei in September 2014, the mission was attended by 24 green energy professionals from 14 APO member economies.
