The APO Secretariat held a town hall meeting on 26 May 2026 to highlight the key outcomes of the 68th Session of the APO Governing Body (GBM) and the way forward for the implementation of APO Vision 2030. Expressing appreciation to APO Directors for their constructive deliberations during the 68th GBM and approval of agenda items, APO Secretary-General Dr. Indra Pradana Singawinata commended Secretariat staff on their efforts in the successful organization of the 68th GBM.

He emphasized the importance of continuing close communication by Secretariat staff to advance the implementation of the Strategic Partnership Program (SPP) with member economies in a timely manner. He also briefed staff on the APO’s new flagship initiative on AI, including its applications for productivity improvement in member economies, and noted the strong interest it received during the GBM.
