Workshop on Green Productivity and Net-zero Emission Targets

Amid accelerating climate change and the global transition toward sustainability, GP and net-zero development have emerged as strategic priorities. However, member economies remain at different stages of green technology adoption, decarbonization, and policy implementation, with limited opportunities for systematic knowledge exchange.

The enterprises, especially SMEs across the Asia-Pacific, need to explore and adopt approaches such as resource efficiency, circular economy, and carbon accounting and management while navigating the volatile business dynamics and aligning operations with net-zero emission plans at national level.

This workshop aims to strengthen understanding of GP and net-zero frameworks through thematic sessions and international case studies, while fostering integrated strategies for sustainable, low-carbon, and resilient economic development. It will further enhance participants’ understanding and practical capabilities in applying GP 2.0 approaches to support circular economy developments and net-zero transition.
