APO Secretary-General Dr. Indra Pradana Singawinata (L) presents the Certificate of Accreditation to APO Director for Cambodia Phork Sovanrith (R) during the 68th APO Governing Body Meeting in New Delhi, India.
The Asian Productivity Organization (APO) announced the accreditation of the National Productivity Centre of Cambodia Certification Body (NPCC-CB) to operate the Productivity Specialists certification scheme (APO-PS 101:2023) during the 68th Session of the APO Governing Body (GBM) in New Delhi, India. The accreditation brings the total number of APO-AB-accredited certification bodies (CBs) to 13.
During the Inaugural Session of the 68th GBM, APO Secretary-General Dr. Indra Pradana Singawinata presented the Certificate of Accreditation to APO Director for Cambodia Phork Sovanrith. The ceremony was witnessed by Minister of Commerce and Industry of India Piyush Goyal, APO Chair 2026–27 Prof. Anwar Sanusi, APO Chair 2025–26 Amardeep Singh Bhatia, and other dignitaries.
Director Phork Sovanrith stated, “On this auspicious occasion, I am honored to announce that the NPCC-CB has officially been accredited by the APO-AB as a certifying body for the competency of productivity specialists across the country.” He noted that, “Through this certification scheme, the NPCC will further expand and strengthen its role in enhancing productivity within both the public and private sectors through the NPCC-CB. By developing and empowering local human resources, the NPCC-CB will support enterprises in advancing the productivity movement, thereby making a significant contribution to Cambodia’s national economic growth, competitiveness, and sustainable development.”

NPO Head for Cambodia Um Serivuth also welcomed the accreditation, stating, “I’m proud to have it certify the expertise of individuals in the productivity field, as we are the first to lead in certifying individuals in the country.” He added, “This is a pathway to move the NPCC as a service provider forward to promote productivity in the country. We made this move with our partners in line with our accredited CB, further demonstrating our commitment to quality and continual improvement.”
The accreditation marks an important milestone in strengthening productivity-related professional certification systems in APO member economies. Through the APO Accreditation Body (APO-AB), the APO continues to support internationally recognized productivity competencies and professional certification systems across the region.
