APO Secretary-General meets President of Pakistan

While in Pakistan to attend the Workshop on Government Performance Management Systems organized by the National Productivity Organization from 6 to 9 January, APO Secretary-General Mari Amano paid a courtesy call on President Mamnoon Hussain on 8 January. During their meeting, Amano explained the APO’s activities to fulfill its mission of contributing to the sustainable socioeconomic development of Asia and the Pacific through enhancing productivity. President Mamnoon Hussain expressed appreciation for the APO’s role in promoting productivity-related activities in Pakistan for strengthening national socioeconomic development.
