The APO Presents Top Talk on Women’s Empowerment for Inclusiveness on 18 September 2020

In this Top Talk, Fijian Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Vuniwaqa will share experience of Fiji in increasing women’s empowerment and social inclusion.

Women still lack access to the same socioeconomic opportunities as men despite their obvious potential to contribute to socioeconomic progress. It is essential to empower women in every aspect of development policy for a well-functioning market economy, sustainable growth, and broad-based productivity gains.
