Centers of Excellence

The APO COE on GP, established in 2013 and hosted by the CPC, promotes GP and sustainable development across the Asia-Pacific region. Leveraging the ROC’s expertise in green technologies, the COE on GP supports APO members through capacity development, technical cooperation, knowledge sharing, and dissemination of best practices, with a focus on resource recycling, green energy, green factories, green value chains, and agro-innovations.

The mission operationalizes the COE on GP’s mandate in Vietnam through collaboration with STAMEQ/NPO Vietnam and engagements with the Hanoi Industrial Textile Garment University (HITU), BSI Vietnam, and Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Company. Through a workshop, institutional exchanges, and site visits, the mission will expose the delegation to Vietnam’s policy and standards environment, green skills and academia–industry cooperation, manufacturing and smart production practices, energy and carbon management, circularity, and sustainable supply chains, while exploring approaches with potential for replication across other APO members.
