Workshop on Human Capital Management and Workforce Transformation in the Digital Era

The Digital Government Outlook 2026 highlights the need for whole-of-government approaches that prioritize user needs, data-driven policy-making, and platform-based delivery models. APO members have been developing national strategies to address emerging opportunities and challenges associated with DX and the adoption of digital technologies.

However, further efforts are required to strengthen digital platforms and enhance the implementation of national digitalization and DX strategies, which are expected to contribute to greater citizen engagement and improve the efficiency, effectiveness, inclusiveness, and productivity of public-sector service delivery.

This workshop will provide a platform for exchanging knowledge of and good practices in the imperatives and progress of public-sector DX. It will also examine approaches to digital government, e-governance, digital public services, data governance, and national digital transformation strategies that lead to advancing citizen-centered, efficient, effective, inclusive public services.
