APO Society Talk on the Toyota Production System-Kaizen for Continuous Improvement
9 March 2009
Four APO participants and FTPI staff members
The APO Society, Thailand’s APO alumni organization, hosted a talk on The TPS-Kaizen for Continuous Improvement at the Emerald Hotel, Bangkok, on 9 March 2009. Four participants from the APO training course on Production Innovation attended to explain what they had learned from the course held in Japan in early December 2008. The APO Society has been organizing the APO Society Talk series as public seminars two to four times yearly since 2003, allowing APO project participants to create multiplier effects from APO projects. In 2008, the APO Society Talk on Tour traveled to major cities outside Bangkok, including Chiangmai, Khon Kaen, and Phuket, for the first time to expand networking opportunities and introduce the APO and its activities to the public and private sectors in provinces throughout Thailand.
The APO Society is one of ten APO alumni bodies that play an important role in generating multiplier effects in national and regional productivity networks. Visit the APO Alumni site for more information on each alumni body and its activities.
