In light of international interest in eco-products and -services coupled with increasing concern about environmental issues, the APO has spared no effort in distributing the recent edition of the Eco-products Directory through various channels and events.

The Eco-products Directory 2008 was on display at the Environmental Showcase in the International Media Center of the G8 summit held in Hokkaido, Japan, 7−9 July. Around 500 CDs and more than 100 copies of the directory were distributed to center visitors, most of whom are senior governmental officials; representatives of international organizations, NGOs, and civil groups; or the media.

The CD and hard copy of the directory were also distributed during the Fourth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD IV) held in Yokohama, Japan, 28−30 May. It has also been on display in 20 lounges at Narita International Airport, Japan.
