Indonesia Professional Certification Authority for Productivity receives APO accreditation

The Indonesia Professional Certification Authority for Productivity (PCAP) has been accredited by the APO Accreditation Body. This recognizes the PCAP, which operates within the Directorate for Productivity Development, Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia (NPO Indonesia), as the first Certification Body (CB) of Green Productivity (GP) Specialists among APO members.

APO Secretary-General Dr. Indra presents the certificate of Accreditation to Minister of Manpower H.E. Ida Fauziyah in Jakarta, 6 March 2023.

At the certificate handover ceremony held in Jakarta on 6 March, Minister of Manpower H.E. Ida Fauziyah appreciated the recognition of the PCAP as a CB of GP Specialists for Indonesia and other member economies. She emphasized the importance of planning promotional activities to enhance public awareness of this program and promote the adoption of GP practices.

APO Director for Indonesia Budi Hartawan noted the significance of the NPO Indonesia’s new role in certifying GP Specialists, not only in Indonesia but also the region. He confirmed that promotional activities to raise awareness of the program had been planned and would be rolled out soon. Director Budi Hartawan also noted the timeliness of the PCAP’s accreditation, as the Ministry of Manpower had recently launched a competency framework for green jobs in support of the transition to a green economy.

APO Secretary-General Dr. Indra expressed appreciation to Minister Ida Fauziyah for her full support for the certification program as well as to the NPO Indonesia for its dedication and commitment. The APO will continue to work with the NPO and other national stakeholders in enhancing productivity and sustainability simultaneously.
