Productivity Talk on 12 November 2020

The APO Presents Productivity Talk on on 12 November 2020

Productivity is defined as the ratio of output to input use when applied to the private sector. Is this the same for the public sector, since its outputs are generally supplied to citizens for free or at subsidized rates?

The APO has recently focused on public-sector productivity growth and its measurement. Aside from capacity-building programs, research has been carried out to assess productivity performance in the public sector, and this session will share insights on the findings together with Dean Parham, Research Visitor at by the Australian National University’s Crawford School of Public Policy Research Visitor and Magdalena L. Mendoza, Senior Vice-President at the Development Academy of the Philippines.
