This P-Talk highlights the current status and readiness of member countries for the adoption of smart agricultural transformation (SAT). Smart agriculture offers great potential for continued agricultural transformation for developing Asia, but not every country can readily adopt all types of innovation. SAT assists member governments in meeting their sustainable agricultural productivity goals. Dr. Roehlano M. Briones explains the mechanisms needed to reap the benefits of SAT and suggests strategies and policy recommendations to speed up SAT in APO member countries.
