The Workshop on Boosting Workplace Productivity through Effective Practices was held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from 18 to 21 November 2025, organized by the National Productivity Centre of Cambodia (NPCC). The workshop aimed to provide participants with practical insights into workplace productivity and effective, adaptable methods of addressing evolving work dynamics and strengthening organizational resilience.
Twenty-three participants from 13 APO members engaged in interactive sessions facilitated by three resource persons from Cambodia, Japan, and Malaysia. The program covered topics including leadership agility, workflow optimization, employee engagement, and performance management. A dynamic combination of presentations, group exercises, and peer-to-peer learning fostered active exchange and reflection. Participants also visited N.V.C Corporation Co., Ltd., and Canadia Bank Cambodia to observe firsthand how local enterprises implement productivity-enhancing practices.
The workshop reaffirmed that improving workplace productivity is a continuous effort shared across sectors, supported by adaptable practices and sustained commitment to change. It also fostered peer exchange on practical approaches and encouraged participants to remain engaged in advancing productivity initiatives within their organizations and economies.
