Why Behavioral Insights Matter in Public Policy

Behavioral insights are utilized by governments to improve policymaking efforts. A multidisciplinary, human-centric approach, drawing knowledge from behavioral economics, psychology, and social sciences, contributes to better policies. In this P-Talk, Dr. Izhar bin Che Mee, consultant from the Malaysia Productivity Corporation, will answer questions on why behavioral insights matter in public policy, with examples from his work on designing and implementing regulations and incentives.
