Practicing Kaizen in Africa

This P-Talk highlights the implementation of kaizen, the Japanese business philosophy that focuses on the process of continuous improvement, in Africa. With the support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), kaizen has been introduced to the African continent and is now widely practiced by industries. The APO invited the winners of the Africa Kaizen Award 2025, an annual award jointly organized by JICA and the African Union Development Agency under the framework of the Africa Kaizen Initiative, to share insights into their kaizen journeys and business transformation.
