Productivity Trends, January–March 2025

This quarter’s Productivity Trends (P-Trends) session highlights the emerging signals shaping productivity between January and March 2026.

Led by Dr. Tuomo Kuosa, Director of Futures Research at Futures Platform, Finland, the session distills thousands of foresight signals into six productivity-shaping trends: AI-augmented workforce orchestration, autonomous process optimization agents, AI-optimized resource loop systems, AI-native service export models, adaptive regulation via real-time policy sandboxes, and productivity-linked well-being metrics.

These insights highlight three productivity opportunities for member economies: boosting competitiveness in a digital-first Asia, building resilience under climate and demographic pressures, and shaping inclusive and trusted growth by balancing efficiency with human performance.
