The Circular Economy in Action

The circular economy aims to minimize waste and promote the sustainable use of natural resources through smarter product design, longer use, recycling, and regeneration. It is complementary with the APO’s Green Productivity initiatives. In this P-Talk, Dr. Shun Fung Chiu, University Fellow, Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, De La Salle University, the Philippines, shares insights on how the circular economy has been put into action with examples across different countries.
