To foster innovation-led productivity growth in line with the APO Vision 2025, the National Productivity Centre of Cambodia held a training course on AI and data analytics for productivity enhancement in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from 5 to 9 May 2025. The face-to-face course brought together 23 participants from 15 APO member economies to explore how AI-driven technologies and data analytics can accelerate productivity and improve decision-making across sectors.

The course aimed to provide participants with practical knowledge and tools for AI-driven data processing, data visualization, and the strategic use of data in organizational decision-making. It featured sessions led by four resource persons from the Netherlands, Singapore, and Thailand, who shared theoretical insights, practical skills, and real-world case studies. Participants engaged in interactive learning through lectures, group discussions, and hands-on exercises that focused on the real applications of AI and data analytics.

The course enhanced participants’ capacity to adopt advanced data tools, enabling faster and more informed decision-making and supporting the shift toward smarter, technology-driven productivity systems in their respective economies.
