The APO Presents Ethics of AI: Policy Guidance on 30 March 2021

AI technology has developed remarkably for applications to daily life and industry. Governments have also adopted AI in e-government systems to provide data-driven insights, while supporting problem solving and decision making to maximize efficiency and service delivery. The ethics of AI for responsible, sustainable governance have become an important discussion point.

In this P-Talk, Assistant Professor Dr. Han Yu, School of Computer Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, will discuss how to design a technical framework that strategically selects the latest advances in AI to build solutions that fit ethical policy requirements. The talk will be moderated by APO Program Officer Jisoo Yun.
