The APO Presents Inclusive Urban Planning on 17 September 2020

In developing countries, rapid urbanization and population density have driven one of three urban residents to slums where adequate public services are unavailable. Urban planning is needed to build tomorrow’s cities with better living conditions for all.

In this APO Productivity Talk, Prof. Myounggu Kang, Department of Urban Planning and Design, University of Seoul, holder of a doctorate from MIT and well-known expert in urban and regional planning, will discuss spatial dimensions of development focusing on the marginalized to achieve inclusive, sustainable city capacity design.
