Malaysia Productivity Corporation

Malaysia Productivity CorporationFormerly known as the National Productivity Organization of Malaysia, the MPC was established in 1962 as a joint project between the United Nations Special Fund and the Federal Government, with the International Labour Organisation acting as its executing agency. It was officially renamed the MPC only in 2008 and is currently under the oversight of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry. Malaysia joined the APO in 1983 and, for the last two years, including 2011, has hosted the Governing Body Meeting of the APO. Its current chairman is Azman Hashim and the Director General, Mohd. Razali Hussain.
