The APO Secretariat, based in Tokyo, Japan, is currently seeking qualified, highly motivated candidates for the following position:
The Senior Director of the Executive Office is a senior position in the APO Secretariat reporting directly to the Secretary-General. The Senior Director is responsible for coordination, strategic planning, and analytical support for the Secretary-General by overseeing planning, monitoring and evaluation functions, promoting relationships with member governments, international cooperation and partnerships, networking with a wide range of stakeholders, and undertaking outreach activities.
The Executive Office also manages all matters and documentation relating to APO members, including the planning and implementation of the annual Governing Body Meeting (GBM) and Workshop Meeting of Heads of NPOs (WSM) as well as other tasks that may be assigned to the Secretariat by the Governing Body.

Fixed-term appointment for two years, with the possibility of reappointment at the end of the term based on performance and upon mutual agreement.
