This outcome document makes recommendations and outlines best practices to shape a better future for women in productive economic activities, leading to overall productivity enhancement and gender equality in the APO region.
The recommendations made by the International Conference on Policies for Productivity Growth, held in August 2017 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, emphasize the need to review national economic development policies to achieve higher levels of productivity performance and national competitiveness in all sectors in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The International Asia EnviroEconomics Conference held in June 2016 in Bangkok reflected the continuing commitment of the APO to its strategic direction of Green Productivity, the creation of a sustainable, low-carbon future, and achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
